i take photos while passing by

when i turn on my camera,
i can switch off everyday life.

then the world i have to worry about is what i see through the viewfinder or on the screen.

i usually take pictures in passing, i want to capture as many different situations as possible and i don't have the patience to stay at one spot for very long anyway. I also wrote something about my photographic approach, if that interests you.

i started taking pictures in 2017 with a fujifilm x70 and the topics that interest me in photography besides private pictures of my family are:

• urban street photography

• documentary travel photography

in my normal life i work as creative director and head of digital in an advertising agency in hamburg. i have three children and a wonderful wife who is an international teacher.
